At Rado, we made our name producing square high-tech ceramic watches. The True Square is a new take on an iconic Rado shape. Our first watch made using a square injected monobloc high-tech ceramic case, the True Square is light, scratch-resistant and comfortable to wear. Distinctive and design-led the Rado True Square Automatic Diamonds is the shape of things to come.
The Captain Cook Chronograph wears a characteristic box-shaped, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both faces. The thin, stylish 43 mm stainless steel case features a polished blue high-tech ceramic inlay on the bezel, complementing the silver-to-blue gradient dial. The numbers, markers and triangles are treated with Super-LumiNova®. Inside, the new, thinner R801 automatic movement, with 37 jewels, five hands and 59 hours of power reserve thanks to an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring, exceeds standard test requirements from 3 to 5 positions for higher accuracy. The model comes with a polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet, as well as a blue leather strap and an additional fabric strap in deep blue.
The Captain Cook Over-Pole is an iconic “worldtimer” watch with a rotating bezel with some city names engraved in order to read the time in multiple time zones at glance. This vintage style watch has a diameter of 37 mm and consists of a high-tech ceramic bezel and a box-shape-style sapphire crystal with anti-reflection coating on both sides. The high-quality Swiss hand-wound mechanical movement is equipped with 80 hours of power reserve. The new Captain Cook Over-Pole Limited Edition comes in a stylish brown case with a second stainless steel bracelet with rice grain look. Thanks to the EasyClip system, the bracelets can also be easily replaced.
